Koinonia is a Greek word meaning community. The Koinonia Retreat program is one designed for college students who desire to grow deeper in their life of faith, prayer and community. The Koinonia experience offers the opportunity to deepen your relationship with God, and allow you to spend some quality time with Him, yourself, and others.
Koinonia is a student led retreat filled with talks, discussion, sharing, prayer, Reconciliation and Liturgy, which requires active participation. The retreat is offered from a Catholic perspective, but non-Catholics are welcome and encouraged to attend.
The Koinonia weekend is being offered jointly by Illinois State University and Illinois Wesleyan University. The retreat is offered once in the fall and once in the spring. The cost of the retreat is $50. As there are a limited number of spaces available, send in your check (or cash) as soon as possible.
