Morality: Virtue & Theology of the Body

Virtue and Theology of the Body are great introductions to the Church's teaching on morality. In virtue, we explore how grace builds upon nature, thus we begin by examining the four cardinal virtues, and the foundations for Christian moral principles. We then go deeper into how the theological virtues of Faith, Hope, and Charity allow us to fulfill our vocations as sons and daughters of God. In Theology of the Body we examine Pope John Paul II's great work on the bodily dimension of human personhood, sexuality, marriage, and celibacy. We will seek to unpack the late Pontiff's vision focuses on the mystery of love extending from the Trinity, through Christ's spousal relation with the Church, to the concreate bodies of men and women.
