The Dedication of the Chapel of St. Robert Bellarmine
and
the Renaming of our Newman Center
November 7, 2010
On November 7, 2010, after many years of hard work, construction, and financial assistance, the new Chapel of St. Robert Bellarmine was dedicated by our dear Bishop Daniel Jenky. Adding to our joy, our Center was given a new patron Saint and renamed the John Paul II Catholic Newman Center. It was a day of great joy, in which nearly 700 people were in attendance.
Following the Mass of Dedication, there was a reception; a presentation honoring the life of Blessed John Paul II; a skit honoring all our patrons, entitled "The Dudes our Center was Named After"; and a musical performance. There are not enough words to thank everyone who helped to bring about this great day in the lives of so many.
