Why should YOU Attend Treasures? Click to Hear from your Peers

"May your search be motivated not simply by intellectual curiosity, though that too is something positive, but be stimulated above all by an inner urge  to find the answer to the question about the meaning of your life." - St. John Paul II

Seek God's plan for your life,

make new friends,
share your faith,

receive support on
 your spiritual journey...

Why is reading the Bible important to me anyway?

If you are like most college students religious truths don't seem to be relevant to your daily life.  I mean, what does the Trinity have to do with me and my relationships? TONS!  Did you know that the Trinity is the perfect model God created for marriage and for the family?  Would you like to find out how?  Come to our Bible study and find out.

So, what will you all talk about?

We will be gathering together as a faith community for a weekly gathering to open the scriptures to see what God has to say to us through the Bible, His Word.  We will need the help of Jesus, the Holy Spirit, Mary, and your eager minds and hearts. Perhaps you may have asked yourself any one of these questions: why am I here, where am I going, why was I put on this earth, what is God's plan for my life, how am I going to find it, what are my gifts, what is my vocation in life, what is the Bible, what is the Church, why do we have to go to Mass, Who is God, what is purgatory, what happens when I die, does Hell really exist, does Heaven really exist, why does God seem so far away, does he really hear my prayer, how do I pray, why do I have to go to confession, why are there people starving in Africa, why is there suffering in the world, does God have a plan for marriage, how can I love those I do not like, and how can I love those I do love, can I experience God's forgiveness, can I learn to forgive? etc.  If you have experienced any of these types of questions, these are the kinds of questions we will be addressing in our weekly Bible Study group.  We will be studying the Bible, which will teach us about God, the things of God and our daily lives.
