Ways of Giving

We thank you in advance for your generous support - whether it be your material goods, financial gifts, prayers, or sacrifices. Each one of them is an invaluable gift to the students and staff of our Newman Center.

Building Expansion and Improvement

Picture
We are most grateful to the foresight of our Beloved Bishop Daniel Jenky, C.S.C, D.D. and the generous people of God in the Diocese of Peoria who gave a sizable financial gift from the Rooted in Faith Campaign to jump-start the construction of a new chapel and expanded ministry and administrative space to the St. Robert Bellarmine’s Catholic Newman Center. Financial help was also received from friends and alumni from all over.  Because of this generous support, the new Chapel and building opened during the Fall of the 2010 Academic year.

On November 7, 2010, on a glorious Saturday afternoon, with over 600 people in attendance, Bishop Jenky dedicated the new St. Robert Bellarmine Chapel. Also, as a surprise gift, he renamed the Center with the name of the most powerful intercessor for the youth in our day: St. John Paul II. The St. Robert Bellarmine Chapel is now housed in the St. John Paul  II Catholic Newman Center. To see pictures from this beautiful event,

Despite the opening of the new Chapel and Center, the building project is still not compete, since for budgetary constraints, many things have been left unfinished, and other needed projects have not begun. In addition, we are still in the process of paying off the debt of the finished portion. Therefore, we still are in need of your generous financial help! Please see below for ways in which you can send your donation (online, mail, etc).

Memorials and Honorariums

Annual Appeal

The Annual Appeal is mailed once each quarter during the academic year, seeking funding for the many programs and ministries of St. John Paul II Catholic Newman Center. Annual funding from alumni, parents and friends is critical to the success of our mission.
